Bihar assembly today witnessed uproar on the issue of alleged sexual exploitation of over 40 girls at a shelter home in Muzaffarpur district of the state.  RJD-led opposition demanded CBI inquiry into the incident.

Opposition leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav alleged that the government is saving its top officials and leaders involved in the case.

Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said, nobody will be spared and action is being taken. He said, the matter surfaced after a fact-finding report of Tata Institue of Social Sciences and the state government has taken cognizance of its report.

Meanwhile, state Director General of Police KS Dwivedi said that out of the 11 accused, 10 have been arrested so far. He said, charge sheet will be filed soon. The DGP said, CBI inquiry is not needed in this case.
