BJP President JP Nadda has said that Congress-led UPA government has diverted money from Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to Rajiv Gandhi Foundation.
In a series of tweets, Mr Nadda said, Congress needs to apologise for the unchecked loot it did for self-gains by diverting PMNRF funds to Rajiv Gandhi Foundation.
The BJP President said that one family’s hunger for wealth has cost the nation immensely.
BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra said that people donated their hard-earned money to Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund in order to help the citizens in need but a part of this public money was diverted to a family run foundation headed by Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
