Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri will be the BJP candidate for bye-election to the lone Rajya Sabha seat from Uttar Pradesh.
The election for the seat is scheduled on 16th of next month. The by-election was necessitated following the resignation of Manohar Parrikar who became Goa Chief Minister.
