Uttar Pradesh government has recommended a CBI probe into the Deoria shelter home case. Speaking to media persons here, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, State government has decided to handover the case to CBI to ensure a transparent probe.
He said, state government has also constituted an special investigation team (SIT) to ensure that there is no tampering of evidence. Headed by ADG (crime), SIT will also have women police officers and they will be assisted by STF.
He said, orders have already been issued to shift the girls recovered from the shelter home to Varanasi in a secure manner.
