The United Arab Emirates Wednesday reported 402 new cases of COVID-19 after conducting 62,028 additional tests, with 594 recoveries and one fatality.
The new COVID -19 patients are from various nationalities. The active cases in UAE now stand at 10,593. The total number of recoveries in the UAE is up at 38,160, while the total number of cases reported in UAE has gone up to 49,069.
The UAE Government has said that they have conducted more than 3.5 million tests so far.
Meanwhile, places of worship in the UAE opened yesterday after nearly three months, with strict adherence to norms prescribed by the Government, including the practice of safe distancing.
In Saudi Arabia, 3,402 new COVID-19 cases were reported, raising the total to 1,94,225 as per the Health Ministry data.
