The UAE Embassy in New Delhi Saturday celebrated the Martyrs’ Day, which falls on November 30th of each year, coinciding with the country’s celebration of this national occasion; and in honor of the martyrs of the country who sacrificed their lives while performing their national duty inside and outside the country, whether they were within the UAE Armed Forces or members of the Ministry of Interior and all those who were martyred in the fields of dignity and honor while serving of their homeland in the diplomatic, humanitarian and other fields.
Emphasizing that the country will never forget its sons who have sacrificed their lives in defending it in the squares of pride, reflecting the utmost values of patriotism, loyalty and sincerity. In recognition of the sacrifices of the true sons of the UAE who have sacrificed their lives to keep the UAE flag flying high, expressing our pride in this national cohesion.
“We pray the Almighty that our martyrs may be shrouded in mercy, and that they may live in his paradise, and inspire their families with patience and solace and make our country always strong and impregnable offering the world lessons in the love of the homeland” UAE ambassador to India Mr. Dr. Ahmed Al Banna.
