Security forces have apprehended two top militants of Karbi People’s Liberation Tigers (KPLT) in Karbi Anglong district today. Official sources said that a joint team of police, army and CRPF arrested the militants from Bokajan area.
The arrested militants were identified as self styled Finance Secretary of the outfit Bonnet Teron and Area Commander Raikom Timung. Arms and ammunitions along with incriminating documents have been recovered from the militants.
