US President Donald Trump held a 45-minute telephone talk with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Trump reiterated US support to Turkey as a strategic partner and the NATO ally during phone call yesterday.
White House said in a statement that the President also spoke about the two countries’ shared commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms. Mr Trump also welcomed Turkey’s contributions in fight against Islamic State group.
