Mamata releases list of TMC candidates for all 42 WB seats

Wes Bengal chief minister and Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee today announced the names of the 42 candidates from Bangla for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

She said that Trinamool has always been a torchbearer in empowering women and has given adequate representation to women once again.
The party has made women candidates from 17 out of the 42 seats in the State. This makes about 40.5 per cent of the candidates, up from 35 per cent MPs last time.

The names of the candidates and their constituencies are as follows:
