Telangana reported 474 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. With this, the total COVID cases reported in the state has gone up to 2 lakh 85 thousand 939. The state conducted over 45 thousand tests yesterday.
The recovery rate reported at 97.4 per cent with 592 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to 2 lakh 78 thousand 523.
According to the daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning, total 1,538 deaths have been reported so far, following three more persons succumbing to the COVID-19 and comorbidities during the past 24 hours. A hundred and two Covid-19 cases were reported in Hyderabad during the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 3 persons tested positive for the Corona Virus variant from the UK and they are being treated and put under special quarantine.
