More than 30 persons were injured at the Jallikattu held at Madurai Avaniyapuram Sunday and all the injured are being
treated at the medical camp put up near the venue.
Earlier, State Revenue Minister R B Udayakumar inaugurated the jallikattu today morning. The jallikattu will be held till evening. The jallikattu is being held as per Supreme Court safety guidelines. 916 bulls and 721 bull tamers have been registered for the jallikattu today.
