Madurai district in Tamil Nadu comes under complete lockdown for seven days from tomorrow midnight till June 30. The state Government has issued an order saying, the adjoining villages and towns of Madurai will also go for the full lockdown.
Shops selling essential things would be open in those areas from 6 am to 2 pm only.
Meanwhile, in Tamil Nadu, the total number of Covid-19 infections has shot up to 62,087, with 2710 new cases recorded today.
