AMN / NEW DELHI
India on Monday said talks and terror cannot go together with Pakistan. Replying to questions on micro-blogging site Twitter, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, there is a lack of compliance by Pakistan to fight terrorism.
Mr Kumar hoped that the ruling establishment in Islamabad will show seriousness towards fighting terrorism.
On the situation in Maldives, the spokesperson said, India has already expressed its desire that emergency should be lifted in that country.
He said, it is important to ensure that all democratic institutions in Maldives are allowed to function in a free and transparent manner in accordance with the Constitution.
