Seven people have succumbed to swine flu in various parts of Maharahstra in the last 24 hours. According to a statement by Maharashtra Public Helath department, one patient from Nagapur, Amravati, Gondia, Nasik, Pune rural, Ahmadnagar, and Kolhapur each succumbed to H1N1 virus in the last 24 hours.
Currently, 254 patients have been admitted in various hospitals in the state of which 21 patients are on ventilator support while 25 patients were discharged today after proper treatment. The state administration has launched various public awareness programs and free check up facilities at all civic hospitals in the state.
8 more Swine flu cases reported in Gujarat
8 more cases of Swine flu have been reported across the state. Two persons died due to H1N1 virus during last 24 hours. One death each was reported form Ahmedabad and Rajkot districts. According to State Health Department sources, the total 38 deaths have been reported due to Swine flu in the state since 1st of August. Total numbers of cases have gone up to 323 out of which 172 have been cured. 113 persons are still under treatment at various hospitals of the state.
