“Salute the doctors’ decision to protest without withdrawing from work and thus not let the patients suffer,”

NEW DELHI

Newly formed political party, the Swaraj India has offered support to the Resident Doctors of All India Institute of Medical Sciences who have been protesting against the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare’s wilful delay to implement the 7th CPC recommendations pending since January 2016.

Expressing disillusionment with the Central Government, Swaraj India leader Anupam said, “Modi government’s seriousness towards improving healthcare in the country can be assessed from the fact that for more than 18 months, the resident doctors of AIIMS, country’s premier medical institute, have not been paid their legitimate dues.”

Saluting the spirit of the doctors who are on a ‘Hunger Strike with Work’, Anupam said,” Despite all problems that the resident doctors are facing, and even at a time when they are protesting, these doctors have vowed to not let their protests affect the patients. This spirit is commendable and Swaraj India will wholeheartedly support their cause”
