The BSE Sensex fell 850 points to 63,119, its lowest level since June 26. The NSE Nifty50 lost 270 points to slide to 18,849.

Indian stock market today continued its losing trend for sixth straight session during morning deals. BSE Sensex today opened lower at 63,774 levels and went on to hit intraday low of 63,403 within few minutes of stock market’s opening bell today. The 30-stock index has been under sell of heat for the last six days and it has fallen from 66,428 levels to 63,403 levels, losing over 3,000 points in this time.

Tech M, M&M, HDFC Bank, Ultratech, Tata Motors, Bajaj Finserv led losses on the Sensex, sliding 1-3 per cent. While Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank and HCL Tech were the only stocks in green. 
 The broader markets opened with sharp losses too. The BSE MidCap and SmallCap indices fell 1 per cent each.

All sectoral indices held sharp cuts, led by Nifty Realty, which fell 2.4 per cent. Nifty PSBs, Nifty Auto, Nifty Metal were next in line with over 1 per cent of losses.
