Sri Lanka will close its borders for ten days beginning Friday, May 21, for arriving passengers. This was informed by the Civil Aviation Authority on Thursday. The decision was announced after the island nation reported a record single-day high of 3,051 COVID-19 cases.
The country’s borders will remain closed from midnight of May 21st till May 31st.
