Sri Lanka Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House in New Delhi Thursday afternoon. A host of bilateral issues were figured during discussion between the two leaders.

Later, the visiting leader will also call on President Ram Nath Kovind.
Mr Wickremesinghe is in the country on a four day visit. He had arrived in Bengaluru on Tuesday.

Cong delegation led by Sonia meets Ranil Wickremesinghe

A Congress delegation, led by party president Sonia Gandhi, on Thursday met the Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe here, the AICC said.

The Congress delegation, which met Mr Wickremesinghe this afternoon, also comprised former prime minister Manmohan Singh, party vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Deputy leader of the Congress in the Rajya Sabha Anand Sharma.

Mr Wickremesinghe, who is on an official visit to India, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind earlier in the day.

He took part in the opening ceremony of the 5th Global Conference on Cyberspace, which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
