State-run Litro Gas has reduced in Sri Lanka the price of a 12.5 kg cylinder of Liquified petroleum Gas by 100 Lankan rupees with effect from midnight tonight. Chairman of Litro Gas Muditha Peiris has said that prices of other cylinders will be reduced proportionately.
The LPG prices were cut last month as the Lankan rupee appreciated against the US Dollar. A 12.5 kg cylinder costs about 3700 lankan rupees.
