Congress President Sonia Gandhi has criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the signing of peace accord with Nagaland group NSCN(I-M) early this week. Talking to media outside Parliament, Mrs Gandhi said, three of the Congress Chief Ministers of Manipur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh were neither consulted nor taken into confidence while signing the deal.
She said this kind of the attitude of the Modi government shows arrogance. On Monday, the Narendra Modi government had signed the landmark peace treaty with NSCN(I-M) in support of the peace efforts.
