A Bengaluru court today directed former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy to appear before it in connection with a solar project cheating case on 13th next month. The court had earlier directed six persons, including Chandy, and a firm to together pay an amount of nearly one lakh 61 thousand to a Bengaluru-based businessman, with 12 per cent interest, for a solar project that did not materialise.
