Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged people’s representatives and BJP workers to organize Sankalp Se Siddhi programme from 15th to 30th of this month across the country to make a new India.
Addressing the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting in New Delhi this morning, Mr. Modi said as in 1942, the country awoke for Independence and India became free in 1947, on the same line during the next five yeasr till 2022, the slogans of making new India should be reverberated across the country.
Briefing media after the meeting, senior party leader and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar said the Prime Minister also welcomed BJP President Amit Shah on his election to the Rajya Sabha and lauded his work as a party chief in the last three years.
Mr Modi said, being a president of a ruling party is not an easy task and Mr. Shah, by his organizational skills and hard work, has successfully expanded the party organization.
