Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh has declared one more candidate in Uttar Pradesh for the upcoming Lok Sabha general elections. Party has announced Shyama Charan Gupta a candidate for Banda Lok Sabha seat in Bundelkhand.

Sri Gupta is a sitting BJP MP from Allahabad Lok Sabha seat. As of now, SP has declared 17 candidates in Uttar Pradesh Party yesterday had declared a list of five candidates for Gonda, Barabanki, Kairana and Sambhal seats.

Former State Minister Vinod Singh alias Pandit Singh will contest Gonda parliamentary seat while Ram Sagar Rawat will fight from Barabanki reserve seat.

Sitting MP from Kairana Tabassum Hasan who won the seat during recent by-elections, will contest this time also on the party symbol while Senior party leader and former MP Shafiqur Rehman Barq will fight from Sambhal constituency.
