Giving fillip to regional phobia, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today announced that state government jobs will be reserved only for local residents, for which his government is going to take necessary steps.
Chouhan told reporters that the state government has taken a key decision that government jobs in Madhya Pradesh will now be given only to the residents of the state. “For this, we are making necessary legal provisions. Madhya Pradesh’s resources are for the children of the state,” he said.
The announcement that all Madhya Pradesh government jobs would now be reserved for the citizens of the state has come just three days after Shivraj Singh Chouhan said preference would be given to local youths for government jobs in the state.
Addressing a state-level Independence Day function in Bhopal, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said his government was preparing a single citizenship database so that people of the state do not have to register for each scheme separately.
After promising that local youths in Madhya Pradesh would get preference for government jobs in the state, Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday announced all government jobs would be reserved for the citizens of the state.
