Shiv Sena has announced to contest over 150 seats in the assembly elections in Bihar. Kaushlendra Sharma, state chief of Shiv Sena, said the party will not make any alliance with BJP and it will fight independently. He said the list of candidates for the first phase of election will be announced on 20th of this month.
Meanwhile, CPI State secretary Satya Narayan Singh has categorically stated that the party will not accept less number of seats as compared to CPI(ML). The CPI (ML) has announced today to put 96 candidates in the assembly elections. It may be noted that under the seat sharing formula among six left parties, CPI has been given 91 seats whereas CPI (ML ) got 78 seats. Six left parties including CPI, CPI(M) and CPI (ML) have already decided to contest election jointly.
