Many parts of Odisha are reeling under the impact of flood waters. Even though water levels in all major rivers have come down, yet many areas across the State are either facing inundation or are grappling with flood aftermath.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today undertook an aerial survey of the flood affected areas. Later, he tweeted that the recent flood has water-logged many districts and marooned many villages.

The flood has also damaged crops, houses and disrupted roads and other infrastructures-he added. He said, expeditious steps are being taken to restore normal life in the flood affected areas.
