Union Minister for Commerce and Railways Piyush Goyal said that the service sector is going to be the biggest contributor in making India a five trillion dollar economy.
Addressing a gathering in New Delhi today after the launch of curtain raiser of Fifth Global Exhibition on Services, the Minister said, services and manufacturing sector must be empowered together. He said, there are a lot of opportunities in the service sector.
Mr Goyal said, tourist destinations are creating an ecosystem which is a job creator, a wealth creator and a generator of economic activity.
He added that the Statue of Unity situated in Gujarat will alone create an ecosystem which can generate revenue of one lakh crore rupees annually over the next four to five years.
