 The Sensex and the Nifty Wednesday climbed more than half a percent in the afternoon trade. Both stocks extended gains amid mixed global cues. The Sensex regained the 60,000 mark while the Nifty reclaimed 17,900 level. The BSE Sensex climbed 367 points, or 0.61 percent to trade at 60,223. The NSE Nifty also added 120 points, or 0.67 percent, to trade at 17,925. |
