Sensex climbs 83 points, Nifty ends at 10,167

Domestic equity benchmarks today surged quarter a percent amid positive Asian cues. Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange climbed 83 points, or 0.24 percent, to close at 34,371.

Similarly, the Nifty at National Stock Exchange settled 25 points, or 0.25 percent, up at 10,167. In the broader market at BSE, Mid-cap rose 0.23 percent while Small-cap gained 0.93 per cent.
