Security has been intensified in the village Atali of Ballabgarh in Faridabad district of Haryana after an incident of stone pelting by different groups at religious places yesterday. According to villagers, three women including a police constable and some villagers were injured in the incident.

The incident took place a day before the local court is to resume hearing on the construction of a religious place, the cause of the riots that occurred in May. The Deputy Commissioner of Faridabad Amit Aggarwal said that some anti-social elements resorted to stone pelting in which both sides received injuries. He said that peace has been restored in the village.
