Supreme Court today refused to give any relief to sitting UP Minister Gayatri Prajapati. The apex court refused to stay his arrest in connection with an FIR in a gangrape and sexual harassment case.

A bench of the Apex Court headed by Justice Arjan Kumar Sikri and also comprising Justice Ashok Bhushan, refused to grant any relief to Prajapati.

The Supreme Court asked Prajapati to go to the court concerned if he wanted any relief.
‘This court has passed the order and we are clear in it,’ it said.  A bench of the Apex Court made it clear that ‘we are not going to modify our order.
