Prime Minister Narendra Modi mourned the death of veteran actor and director Satish Kaushik. In a tweet, PM Modi said, “Pained by the untimely demise of noted film personality Shri Satish Kaushik Ji. He was a creative genius who won hearts thanks to his wonderful acting and direction. His works will continue to entertain audiences. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti.”

Home Minister Amit Shah has also, expressed grief over the demise of actor, director, and writer Satish Kaushik. In a tweet, Mr. Shah said, Mr. Kaushik’s contribution to Indian cinema, artistic creations, and performances will always be remembered. He paid his condolences to the bereaved family. 

Veteran Bollywood actor and director Satish Kaushik passed away. He was 66. “Actor Satish Kaushik passes away, “Anupam Kher informed in an emotional note on social media along with a picture of both actors. Kaushik suffered a heart attack on the way to the hospital in New Delhi. He even attended veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar’s Holi party on Tuesday and shared a series of photos with Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha and more on his official Twitter account.

Satish Kaushik was one of the finest actors in Bollywood, who played some memorable characters like Manu Manek Mundra and Advocate Sadhuram. He was born on April 13, 1956, and was an actor, director, producer, comedian and screenwriter. He was an alumnus National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India. The actor was married to Shashi Kaushik in 1985.

Javed Akhtar shared a picture with Satish from the Tuesday holiday bash. He wrote, “Satish a man full of warmth love and humour was like a brother to me since almost forty years . He was twelve years younger than me . Satish ji , it was not your turn.”

Yogi Adityanath on Satish Kaushik’s demise

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath condoled the demise of actor Satish Kaushik. Taking to his Twitter handle, he wrote, “The demise of eminent actor and film director Mr. Satish Kaushik is extremely sad and an irreparable loss to the film world. May Lord Shri Ram give place to the departed soul in his holy feet and strength to the bereaved family members and his fans to bear this immense sorrow. Om Shanti!”
