The BJP Thursday termed the ‘Sanjhi Virasat Bachao’ meet as coalition born out of fear and questioned of Opposition leaders over the political killings of RSS workers in Kerala.

Union Law Minister and senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad at a press conference said those who participated in Sanjhi Virasat were afraid of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP which was ruling over a majority of states in the country.

Taking a dig at the JD-U rebel leader Sharad Yadav, Mr Prasad expressed surprise at Mr Yadav sharing dais with Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi saying that Mr Yadav himself was once a strong critic of the grand old party.

Reacting to Mr Gandhi’s attack on RSS, Mr Prasad said the Congress Vice president knew nothing about the RSS.
Earlier, at ‘Sanjhi Virasat Bachao’ (Save Composite Culture) event, the Opposition today voiced their concern over the threat to the diversity and the composite culture under the NDA regime.

Leaders of the Congress, Samajwadi Party, the RJD, the CPI, the CPI(M), the Nationalist Congress Party, the National Conference and other parties who attended the event, targetted the Modi Government for the recent incidents of violence in the country in the name of faith and religion
