Samajwadi Party today released its election manifesto with focus on ‘Greater Change through social justice’ and empowering poor and downtrodden. The manifesto also promised to ameliorate farmer misery.

The manifesto ‘Maha Parivartan Through Social Justice: A New Vision, A New Hope’  underscored that a 100% farm-loan waiver is the first step. But ensuring farmers get paid a fair MSP is equally important.

The Party also promised women empowerment and gender justice in its manifesto.

While releasing his party’s manifesto in Lucknow Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav said that Farmers will be happy only when their loans are waived-off completely.

“The need of the hour is a government that serves the many and not the few, that heals divisions and bridges differences, that rebuilds trust by being bound to a single oath to the Constitution of India” said SP chief.

On this occasion, Akhilesh Yadav also targeted BJP and said that they are making rich people more richer and poor people poorer through their policies like GST. He said that BJP has weakened the fight for social justice.

A state-specific family welfare program to look after the families of soldiers while they are away is a small step in the right direction. There’s a lot more we need to do

There is an urgent need for large scale infra that brings people closer, eases market access, irons over transactional friction, and enables growth.

We will create jobs through policies that will grow startups to medium businesses, medium businesses to large enterprises, and large enterprises to global behemoths.

Every student in this country deserves access to the best quality education material — for free.

We propose expanding 2 programs we ran while in government — the Samajwadi Pension, and Lohia Grameen Awaas Yojana.

The rich have become super-rich — in fact, the richest 10% owns 60% of India’s wealth. The poor struggle as half the population has just 8% of India’s wealth.
