Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has said that Vikas, Sabka Vikas, Desh Ka Vikas and Sampoorn Vikas is the aim of his government. Addressing a public meeting at Baripada in Odisha, Mr. Modi said importance has been given on connectivity on Highways, Railways, Airways and Digital connectivity in east and northeast states.
He said as a result of this, the distance between mines, mineral and industry has been minimised. The Prime Minister said these projects will generate lakhs of direct and indirect employment.
The Prime Minister said that various schemes launched by his government during the last four and a half years have been implemented with equality and social justice.
Mr. Modi criticised the Congress government for its alleged non-functioning from 2004-14. He alleged that it was associated with Helicopter scam, which he said has been disclosed in a letter of Mischel. Mr. Modi said law will not spare any body.
Earlier, Mr. Modi dedicated to the nation various developmental projects through video-conferencing, which he described as a New Year gift to the people of Odisha.
These include Balasore-Haldia-Durgapur section of LPG pipeline project of IOCL and the Balasore multi modal logistic park to the nation.
Mr Modi also laid the foundation stone for the four laning of various National Highway projects and inaugurated six passport seva kendras.
