Bhubaneswar: A retired Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, who also acted as an observer in two Vyapam recruitment tests of Madhya Pradesh, was found dead on a railway track in Odisha, police said on Saturday.
Vijay Bahadur’s body was found on a railway track near Belpahar station under South-Eastern railways’ Jharsuguda junction on Thursday (October 15), police said.
He was travelling to Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh from Puri in Odisha with his wife Nita Singh by the Puri-Jodhpur Express.
The official, however, said the actual cause of death would be ascertained after the post mortem report was available with the Government Railway Police.
