Rashtriya Swaysewak Sangh, RSS, has expressed concern over imbalance in growth of population between the people belonging to the religions of Indian origin and those of religions of foreign origin.
On Saturday a resolution was passed in the ongoing All India Executive Council Meet of the RSS at Samlong, near Ranchi, which has demanded adoption of uniform population policy for religious groups in India.
Briefing media Saturday evening, the Sah Karyakari Krishna Gopal said that there should a study by the government on number of people that could be supported by the available resources in next 35 to 40 years, and a policy should be made accordingly.
The RSS also demanded creation of one National Population Register, by which the illegal migrants could be identified.
