Senior BJP leader and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has said recent election results in different states have shown that people have faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and policies.
Briefing the media in New Delhi, Mr Javadekar said, the BJP has performed very well in the BTC elections in Assam and has taken its tally from one to nine. He said, party has recommended the name of Pramod Boro for Chief Executive Member of BTC. He said, be it Bihar assembly polls, by-polls in different states, GHMC polls in Telangana, LAHDC polls in Ladakh or Zilla Parishad and Panchayat elections in Rajasthan, BJP got support of people.
Mr Javadekar said, Congress has been losing ground and becoming irrelevant. He said, people from all walks of life, be it farmers, poor, people from both rural and urban areas everyone is supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development programmes.
Replying to a media query on farmers, Mr Javadekar said, many reports are coming through the media and Government has kept a close eye on it and doors are open for talks.
