Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said that the behaviour of Hurriyat leaders with delegation members was neither Kashmiriyat nor insaniyat. He said, some of the members of delegation went to meet Hurriyat leaders which was neither approved nor disapproved by the government.

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, Mr Singh said the delegations members had gone to meet them in their individual capacity. Mr Singh said, the government is open to anyone who wants to sit and discuss the issue within the framework of the Constitution. He said, there is no doubt that Jammu and Kashmir was, is, and always will be an integral part of India.

Rajnath however hoped that situation in Jammu and Kashmir will improve soon. Mr Singh said, Centre is making all efforts to bring normalcy in the state and is fully cooperating with the State Government. He said the all party delegation has expressed concern over the situation and everyone is of the view that things in Kashmir needs to improve.

Asked about pellet guns, Mr Singh said, an expert committee has suggested use PAVA shells, a chilli-based less-lethal munition.

Meanwhile All party delegation arrived in Jammu today to hold talks with cross- section of society to restore peace and normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir.
