Classes from 5th to 8th standard and first year and second year of degree colleges in Rajasthan have started today after a long gap. The screening of films has also been started in theaters of the state with COVID guidelines.

The cinema halls of the state have opened once again for the audience after a long duration. However, films are being screened in just three theaters in the capital Jaipur. Similarly, the students of class 5th to 8th have also got an opportunity to attend classes in schools after several months.

Meanwhile, new cases of corona are sharply declining in the state. The state reported just 75 cases yesterday. Not a single new case was reported in 20 out of the 33 districts. The number of active patients in the entire state has also been reduced to less than one thousand 500.

There are no longer any active patients in Churu, Hanumangarh, Jhunjhunu, Sawai Madhopur and Tonk districts. COVID vaccination work is going on smoothly in the state and 4 lakh 60 thousand health workers and front line workers have been vaccinated so far.
