Rajasthan State BJP president Madan Lal Saini Passed away on Monday evening at AIIMS in New Delhi. 76 years old Rajya Sabha member Mr Saini was admitted in AIIMS 3 days ago due to lungs infection, where he was being treated. Prior to that, he was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Jaipur.
Born in 1943 in Sikar, Mr Saini was active in politics since the era of Jan Sangh. Saini had served as an MLA also from Udaipurwati assembly seat of Jhunjhunu District. He also contested MP election from Jhunjhunu but had to face defeat by a very little margin.

He was an active member of RSS also and had worked with the Bhartiya Majdoor Sangh. In June 2018, Mr Saini was appointed State BJP president. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, former Chief Minister Vasudhara Raje and Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot have expressed their condolences on the sudden demise of Mr Saini.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that passing away of Madanlal Saini is a major loss for the BJP family.
In a tweet, Mr Modi said he contributed to strengthening the party in Rajasthan and was widely respected for his congenial nature and community service efforts. He said his thoughts are with the family and supporters.
HM Amit Shah expresses grief at passing away of Madan Lal Saini
Home Minister Amit Shah today expressed grief at the passing away of senior BJP leader and Rajasthan BJP state president Madan Lal Saini.
In a tweet, Mr Shah said Madan Lal Saini was a true public servant whose whole life was devoted to the party and society. He was instrumental in strengthening the BJP in Rajasthan.
