Amid the continuing stand-off between China and India on the tri-junction of India, Bhutan and China, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today questioned the silence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the matter.
“Why is our Prime Minister silent on China? ” Mr Gandhi said in a tweet.
In a major standoff on the India-China border, Chinese troops entered the state of Sikkim and destroyed two Indian bunkers. Chinese troops also engaged in a fight with Indian troops, who were guarding the border at the location.
