Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a ceasefire for Orthodox Easter, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressing Kyiv’s willingness to abide by it. The Russian news agency reported that the ceasefire will remain in effect from 11th to 12th April of this month.
Russian soldiers have been ordered to cease combat operations in all directions during the ceasefire. Meanwhile, Mr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine had proposed a ceasefire during the Easter Holidays and would act accordingly.
