The Shiromani Akali Dal, SAD has said, the Punjab government was not contemplating any ban on the film, ‘Udta Punjab’, which is caught in a censorship row. SAD spokesman, Mr Daljit Singh Cheema said in Chandigarh that the impression being created that his party was trying to censor the film was untrue. He sought the Election Commission’s intervention in the matter urging it to convene an all-party meeting.
