n Puducherry the recovery Covid 19 rate stands at 97.30 percent, and the fatality rate is 1.65 percent as on today. And the number of new cases continues to show a declining trend for the last few days. Only 35 new cases were reported today.
According to the COVID 19 status report released by the health department today, no death has been reported from the 4 regions of the union territory. Of the 35 new cases , 13 cases from Puducherry region, 3 cases from karaikal, 18 cases from Mahe and one case reported from Yanam region.62 persons were discharged from hospitals.
Presently, 190 persons are being treated in hospitals and another 202 positive cases are under home isolation with a total number of 392 active cases here.
