President Pranab Mukherjee today hosted an At Home reception for freedom fighters on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the Quit India Movement at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. On the occasion, Mr Mukherjee honoured and felicitated around 100 freedom fighters from across the country.
Vice President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister of State for Home Hansraj Ahir, Additional Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Dr P K Mishra, Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
