President Pranab Mukherjee has asked law students to create legal awareness among women, school and colleges. Addressing the 24th Annual Convocation of the National Law School of India University in Bengaluru today he also asked the students and budding lawyers to help the nation to create better citizens.
Appreciating the girl students who won more gold medals than boys the president said we have to give opportunity to women to lead the nation.
The president said, it is the time for the legal fraternity , law students to meet the contemporary challenges and create a knowledge based society and a better democracy. Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Chief Justice of India T.S.Thakur and others were also present on the occasion.
