The President of India, Pranab Mukherjee has greeted Muslims on the occasion of the commencement of the holy month of Ramzan. In his message, the President has said:“I greet all my Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of the commencement of the holy month of Ramzan. May the spirit of Ramzan illuminate the world, show us the way to peace and harmony and remind us of our duties towards the less privileged.”
Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has also greeted the Muslim community on Ramzan. His message in English and Urdu PM said: May this Ramazan bring peace and happiness in everyone life. May this holy month also enhance the spirit and harmony and togetherness in society.
