The President of India Ramnath Kovind today reached Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh on his two day visit of the state capital. He is on a five day visit of the state. President boarded the special presidential train at Kanpur Central railway station this morning and reached Lucknow this afternoon. Governor of State Anandiben patel, chief minister Yogi Adityanath and other ministers welcomed the president on his arrival at railway station. President will stay at Raj bhavan today.
President will meet dignitaries today in Lucknow and will take part in the ceremony of laying of foundation stone for Ambedkar culture centre tomorrow. The centre is being developed by culture ministry of state and around 45 crore rupees will be spent on various structures and facilities in the centre. President will return to New Delhi on a special flight tomorrow.
