President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday declared Kerala as the first digital state of the country, pinning another feather on the cap of the southern state that boasts of many firsts in the human development index.
President said that Kerala government has launched digital literacy campaign, which will play an important role in digitally empowering the people of Kerala, between the age group of 30 to 60 years.
President said that after successful completion of this campaign Kerala would become a fully digital society.
